UPDATE: Supervisor Net version 8.3.3

We are happy to announce the release of the Supervisor Net suite of products version 8.3.3.

The most important update to this release is to ensure that all components of the suite are compatible with TLS 1.2, and the product will operate correctly when TLS 1.0 and 1.1 are disabled.

A complete list of changes is as follows:

Supervisor Net
[Feature] #15314 The thumbnail generator for user images now creates medium sized thumbnails. This is so that future versions of On-The-Go don’t have to create their own thumbnail images for display on the terminals. As such, this is the minimum version of Supervisor required by future releases of On-The-Go
[Feature] #15302 The Print Popup configuration tool will now prompt for administrator privileges when run. This is so the configuration file can be saved wherever the Print Popup application is installed
[Bug Fix] #15350 Supervisor Net’s various components would stop communicating if TLS 1.1 or 1.0 were disabled, even though they supported TLS 1.2
[Bug Fix] #15273 A deadlock in SQL Server could cause ‘Ghost’ print jobs to remain in the database – these are jobs that have been released and no longer exist

Monitor Online Ordering
[Feature] #15348 A new information icon has been added to the page containing categories and items if the shop group has a welcome message set. Clicking the icon re-displays the welcome message, as it may contain information that the user needs to refer back to when ordering items
[Bug Fix] #15341 A customer’s order could not be cancelled if their primary number had subsequently changed
[Bug Fix] #15284 Order statuses were automatically changing when a note was added to the order

Web Print
[Feature] #15271 Web Print now supports PDF files containing XFA dynamic forms (Drop down boxes, value entry forms, etc)
[Change] #14912 The job pipeline in Web Print has been optimized. In previous versions, processing large numbers of jobs could cause the system to stop processing some jobs
[Change] #8798 Web Print will no longer replace website images during an upgrade, so customisations will not be lost
[Bug Fix] #15317 Jobs could fail to process. In the Web Print Manager log file it would say that the job failed to process because a file was in use by another process
[Bug Fix] #15299 Web print stopped processing jobs with error “There was a serious issue processing your document”. This would occur if the default page size and available page sizes were not defined in the configuration

Supervisor Insight
[Feature] #15256 A new report has been added  – 5005: Online Ordering Items Provided Summary Report
[Change] #15289 The pastoral Care report (5110) has been modified to exclude locked accounts
[Bug Fix] #15309 Supervisor Insight’s reports wouldn’t run if TLS 1.1 or 1.0 were disabled, even though they supported TLS 1.2
[Bug Fix] #15264 The Store filters were not working in the 604x, 1240 and 6030 reports
