New MU1 Terminals get installed at Waverley Library

MonitorBM are excited to tell you about our new MU1 terminal’s first install at Waverley Library in Bondi Junction – a tourist and guest user hotspot.

Patrons to the Library were previously able to book one of the four meeting rooms via our Reservation Solution online, but required the librarian to facilitate these bookings in person.

Now teamed with the MU1 terminal – users can now simply enter a code or scan their library card to unlock the appropriate meeting room for their reservation.

Waverly have four meetings rooms each equipped with our new MU1 wall mountable terminal. The MU1 terminal is lightweight, and boast 6 operating modes, one of these being specifically made for helping manage rooms for use with our Reservation Solution.

Linked into Waverley’s LMS Libero using a API – a ‘host’ can book a room online, contact free, scan their library card at the door and enter and use the space. If the host had more than one person for the booking, they can simply send a code for this meeting to their team. The relay in the MU1 is programmed to unlock the door for a configurable period of time ,in this case 10 seconds,  when time is up – the host & guests simply leave.
