Update! My Monitor & My Reservation

We had a couple of new releases last week with features, changes and bug fixes made to both My Monitor & My Reservation!

Firstly, let talk about My Monitor version 8.1.3 releasing 5 new features! The most important being a brand-new payment gateway to our Australian customers. The Monitor team have now added a Commonwealth Bank of Australia hosted payment page called ‘BPOINT Payment page’ and we have some more bank payment options coming soon! Our on-the-ground Sydney GM Craig Isaacson took notice of our customers’ requests for more variety and more secure payment options – so we’ve been busy getting these underway.

We have now also completed an integration to Innovative Interfaces Inc’s (iii) Sierra LSP system that will allow payment of outstanding Library Fees and fines via our touchpoints of Online, Kiosks, self-check stations and Point of Sale Systems. This Sierra system is used by large libraries such as Auckland Council and our integration and provision of this service will make life quicker and easier for patrons to keep their accounts up to date.

Finally, we have now made it easier and more user friendly to create casual users of our system by making the text on the confirmation page configurable. We see this as a way to allow guest users in a corporate environment to more easily take advantage of Monitor’s Web Print systems.

My Reservation has also had a new release this week with version 8.0.13. A few changes have been made, the first of which was requested my Morton Bay Regional Council. They requested that the order of which the sites are displayed (for the end user) to be customisable. Now you can arrange your list of sites in any order, making it more accessible to your users. Auckland City council also requested an update recently; when creating a reservation, it is now possible to simply press the enter key after entering the user’s details. As small as this change may be – here at Monitor we are constantly listening to our customers on where we can make improvements. Our team is already working on the next release of My Reservation with a new function of being able to attach PDF’s against a booking – e.g. a liquor licence, signed contracts etc. which we are very excited about!

Another new feature for My Reservation version 8.0.13 is you can now search by Primary ID when creating a reservation making this process easier. Lastly a change has been made where previously your user with a future reservation was prevented from logging into the device if there was 3 minutes or less before their reservation however, they are now able to access the device at any time prior to their reservation time! These are just 4 of the 12 features, changes and bug fixes made to the latest version of My Reservation 8.0.13. For a full list of new updates – please click here
