miniPOS for Waitakere College

Waitakere College install miniPOS in their Student Centre.

Waitakere College have added to their existing Monitor solution with the deployment of miniPOS in their Student Centre. By adding miniPOS to the solution, the students at Waitakere College will have a much easier and streamlined process to pay for school trips and tickets to the school ball or school play.

Installed is an FEC touchscreen terminal with the latest version of miniPOS. Students swipe their ID card at the terminal to authenticate themselves and then select the school trip or ticket they wish to purchase. The funds are deducted from their account and an email is then sent to the school administrator as well as the parent.

By utilising My Monitor, parents can add funds to their children’s accounts to allow them to purchase not only school trips and tickets from the student centre, but also goods at the canteen or release print jobs from the copiers on campus.
